Chronic disease affects all of us in one way or another. Chronic disease comes on slowly and tends to get worse rather than better. Diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, alzheimers and dementia, and many others are all chronic diseases.

Another way to think about these diseases is that they are diseases of lifestyle. And, they are reversible, either completely or at least partially.
